White Space expects to rope in more customers by year-end

Serviced office provider White Space Sdn Bhd expects to rope in more than 200 clients by year-end from only 50 now as demand for ready-to-use office space increases, especially among new entrepreneurs.

Executive Director Leslie Jeyam said its maiden boutique business centre which was set up with a RM1.5 million investment is able to cater for a maximum of 350 customers, help companies save cost on long-term leases or in investing in office fixtures. Jeyam said the serviced office offers facilities such as dedicated business address, streamlined calls and fax forwarding, meeting rooms, lounge and video conferencing, in addition to virtual office support services.

“Companies can use White Space not only as their corporate headquarters, but also as satellite offices,” he told Business Times in Kuala Lumpur recently. White Space, established in January this year, offers three types of memberships namely Partner, Professional and Premier.

At RM99 per month, Partner is the basic membership with access to all basic facilities while Professional and Premier membership provides full access and are priced at RM199 and RM299 per month respectively. Moving forward, Jeyam said White Space plans to open up 10 serviced offices with an investment of approximately RM1 million each. “We hope to see four new serviced offices in KL by next year,” he said. White Space expects a return of up to 30% in the first two years of operation on the back of a RM3 million turnover.
